The Indian cricket team secured all nine victories in the 2023 ODI World Cup convincingly. India lost to Australia in the 2015 semi-finals and were beaten by New Zealand at the same stage four years ago in Manchester. While New Zealand’s win against two-time champions India would take the Kiwis to their third successive final appearance in the ODI World Cups, India’s victory would see them make the final for the first time since winning the title in 2011.
However, the Kiwis will be under pressure against the high-flying Indian cricket team, which is unbeaten in the tournament so far. India vs New Zealand cricket matches in ICC events have produced some pulsating contests over the years. India will take on New Zealand in the first semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday.
